MPD were asked to mobilise 40 operatives with PTS, CSCS and tree-clearing skills to clear 120 acres and accelerate the enabling package for main works handover. The next day we sent six operatives to Scotland – the nearest place offering immediate refresher chainsaw training at the height of Covid lockdown – travelling in separate hired camper vans for personal safety. Our robust supply chain mobilised specialist plant equipment, which generated significant efficiencies.

 

MPD were also engaged to plant 15,000 saplings in three months across the Colne Valley as part of the ecological regeneration scheme.
