MPD is a first-rate, multidisciplinary engineering organisation, and this major project with HS2 SCS Railways is testimony to that.

 

MPD’s structural coded welders pieced together the tunnel push frames and cradles at the West Ruislip Portal, where our best-in-sector supervisors oversaw all lifting and installation.

 

Such was our efficiency, that MPD’s operatives were subsequently fed into supporting SCS’s TBM assembly team.

 

Alongside Herrenknecht, MPD spent months assembling both TBMs ready for launch. This evolved into a 24 hours a day TBM mechanical maintenance package.
